I view public speaking in a positive way because without public speaking the world would be in the dark. The public speaking experiences that I have are: the National History Day program, one acts, and musical. I need to learn to make eye contact. I look at people's face and it flips me out. The only thing that I think will help me learn best is just practice.
the vampire squirrels shall rise again!
I view public speaking in a negative way. Because i don't like speaking in front of big groups of people. I haven't had any experience with public speaking. My goals for this class are to pass. I need to learn how to not be shy and have better eye contact. Activities that will help me learn best are practicing at home with one of my parents or siblings.
I view speech in a positive way. Without public speaking we could not communicate properly. My goal in this class is to get an A and to find useful tips for writing and presenting public speeches. I think I do a fairly good job at giving speeches, so maybe I could use help with the writing process more than anything. Usually repetition and practice help me learn the most.
I view public speaking in a positive way, I think that it is a good way to express feeling. I have had to do speeches and presentations, I also had to read a poem at my Grandma's funeral. My goal for this class is to become a better writer and speaker. I would like to become not so nervous when speaking in front of people. I learn best from visual aides and then trying it myself.
It is a good thing because it helps conquer people and break out of shells. I have done FCCLA star for 2 years and National History Day play presentations for 3. I hope to get better at public speaking.I want to get rid of my nerves when I speak publicly. Doing things helps me do it better.

I think speaking is positive. because it helps you become less scared. I have spoken in front of classes. To pass. All of them. That kind of stuff that you do.
negative because i dont like to talk to a lot of people a one time.none.pass it with a good grade.i dont know. hands on.
I view public speaking in a positive way because it helps you with future jobs. I have a some experience with public speaking. I want to pass the class. I don’t want to mix my words together and slur them. Visual and hands on learning.
I view public speaking in a positive way because it helps you express your opinions to groups of people besides your friends. My funniest memory of public speaking would be from the 3rd grade. 5 students were chosen to read a paragraph during Sunday Mass. When it was my turn, I started reading the wrong paragraph. It ended up not being that big of a deal, because the person behind me covered it up pretty well, but it was still embarrassing. My goals for this class are to gain confidence in writing and reading speeches. I really need help with structure and not being jumpy. I tend to go from topic to topic and skip around a lot. I think the best activities from this class will just be the writing and reading speeches.
I view public speaking in a positive way because it can help in many areas such as social situations and having to speak to people. My goals for class are to help me progress and develop even further for the speech season. I want to help with my skills in writing speeches throughout the semester, and hands on and interactive strategies help me learn best.
I think public speaking is both negative and positive, because sometimes it is just so boring to listen to someone talk about something when I could just read it, but I also think that public speaking is a necessary skill to have in order to pave your way in life. I have only done a speech for 8th grade English class. My goals are to pass this class, and I think understanding is a necessary skill to public speaking. If I have a visual aid to look at, I learn well, but other than that, you just have to do your best at memorizing stuff.
I view it in a positive way because poeple need to know important information.I basically don't have any public speaking skills except for showing power points. to be able to stand up in front of a bunch of people a say a speech.not being so shy when im talking to a crowed.I really don't have a strategies.forints
I don't like speech because i dont like getting up and talking infront of people.
I view public speaking in a negative way. I don't like speaking infront of people, I get nervous.
Negative because it is hard. Doing speeches in classes. My goal is to be a better public speaker. Eye contact is a specific speaking skill. I learn best by watching movies.
I view public speaking in a negative way because people rarely tell the whole truth if not at all. Whenever I do public speaking a make it offensive to many people because the truth hurts but I don't really care. =) I'm quite good at it but I need to have a topic I like and find interestingly funny.
i view public speaking in a negative way beucase i hate getting up in front of people and i will no tread or give a speech to this class so it is not going to happen i will no tget in front of people at all

I think public speaking is a great way for people to express their opinions & ideas. It helps us communicate with others easier. I have been in one acts, musical, & National History Day. My goal in this class is to get an A and improve on my public speaking. I need to learn how to make better eye contact & speak louder. I learn best with practice and tips from students and teachers.
I view it in a positive way. It is one way that the public can get their thoughts out in a positive way than in hate and war and violence. None. Speaking in public. Anyway is easy, but sometimes doing it myself is the easiest.
Public speaking is very well thought out because if you didn't speak positively you wouldn't get through to everyone in a good way. I hope to get a good grade in this class.
