3. The target audience is women and now men too who feel like they need to lose weight and would like an easy way to do so.
4. Identity, because it's appealing to a need to fit in with culture.
5. Mythos, because it will help you be a part of culture and fit in with everyone else.
6. The commercial states how delicious the food is, how fast shipping is, how easy it is to lose weight, and how cheap the program is. It also shows what kind of body you COULD get by using the program.
7. This commercial would be most effective to people, especially women, who feel like they aren't pretty because of their weight. Seeing the skinny women on the show looking good in their bikinis could be a reason for women to buy it, because they think the product will make them look like that.
8. I think the way the manufacturers advertised the food program was good because it was persuasive to the audience and made it seem like it will solve all your weight problems. I think the commercial should have been more honest with the results that will be achieved, because the models on the commercial have the body they have not only because of the food, but with exercise as well.
